The Caring house Foundation: The Caring
House Project Foundation's primary objective is to provide
housing, food, and medical support for the desperately
homeless around the world, particularly in the Caribbean,
South America, Indonesia and here in the United States.
For the past 8 years, The Caring House Foundation has
been providing the world's poorest with the
most basic of human needs - shelter.
The Caring House Project Foundation was founded on the
premise that stability begins at home. Without the most
basic needs of shelter being met, there is little
hope.
In
2003, we built a village for 200 homeless in Cite Soleil,
outside Port au Prince Haiti, the poorest country in
the Western hemisphere. In February of 2004, we finished
a small village for 115 homeless in
Japon, Honduras. In December 2004, we completed our
most ambitious undertaking to date, the completion of
"Village De La Foi (Village of Hope) for over 1000
homeless in Cap Haitien, Haiti.
In 2005, we are building two villages, one in the Aceh
Besar district of Indonesia, an area ravaged by the
tsunami. We are also building back in Haiti, in Gonaives
the city that was destroyed by the hurricanes and floods
of 2004. In total we will provide shelter to
approximately 705 desperately homeless in 2005!
And we can't do it without your help.
You should know that we use almost all local labor and
materials to construct these villages, therefore helping
the fragile local economy.
Many years ago I made a commitment: in addition to a
portion of the profits from our real estate sales, ALL
profits earned outside the sale of real estate would
go to the Caring House Project Foundation.
As a company, we have chosen to make a donation to The
Caring House Foundation in your name with proceeds from
the above mentioned property. Deeming this house a “Caring
House”.
